June Foray (September 18, 1917 – July 26, 2017) was an American voice actress, who had provided voices for animated films and television programs for over 6 decades and is one of the industry's best-known icons, rivaled in American voice acting by Mel Blanc.
She was best known as the voice of such animated characters as Rocky the Flying Squirrel from Rocky and Bullwinkle, Lucifer from Disney's Cinderella, Cindy Lou Who from Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, Jokey Smurf from The Smurfs, Granny and Witch Hazel from the Warner Bros. cartoons directed by Friz Freleng, Grammi Gummi from Disney's Adventures of the Gummi Bears series, Martha Wilson from Dennis the Menace, and Magica De Spell, among many others.
